Resonant Waves: Immersed in Geometry, a recent art paper about the project and Richard Grillotti's path as an artist is part of this month's Leonardo Art & Science Journal by The MIT Press. This paper is co-authored by Richard Grillotti, Andy DiLallo and Angus G. Forbes
Richard Grillotti and Andy DiLallo present on Resonant Waves at Siggraph Conference 2020. The presentation will take place virtually on Tuesday, August 26th at 9am PST, followed by a 30 minute live Q&A session with the remote conference attendees, from 10-10:30am PST.

A detailed process/utility patent for the operations and function of Resonant Waves was successfully filed in April 2020.

Resonant Waves jams out with Geometron as part of an ongoing live music collaboration with fellow musicians, sound healers and audio visual artists in the Los Angeles area as the group "Holding Space".
Resonant Waves was invited to participate at the 13th Binary Salon event held in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood.
The two-artist event was a fantastic success. Richard Grillotti gave short a talk & presentation on the project, and was available to engage with the individuals experiencing the piece.

Resonant Waves: Immersed in Geometry, the original name for the installation, was installed in a private room in the UC Santa Cruz Digital Art and New Media building, this Resonant Waves solo exhibition was a highly focused and impactful experience, enhanced by the darker room and the reverberating acoustics from the concrete walls of the space.
Resonant Waves: Immersed in Geometry won 1st place in the "B-A-N-A-N-A-S" category and an Honorable Mention for "Excellence in Audio" in the UC Santa Cruz Games Showcase 2019.
Resonant Waves: Immersed in Geometry made its first public appearance in the The Digital Art and New Media, Masters of Fine Art Thesis Exhibition "RECEIVERSHIP" on April 27, 2019.
This graduation exhibition presented the work of the 13 cohort members of the UCSC 2019 Digital Art and New Media MFA program. It was a great success.
